How To Cancel Subscription On MTN

Getting to cancel subscriptions on MTN is not as hard as many people would think. Follow the steps to cancel any subscription that you no longer need.

  • Go to your Phone app and dial *155#
  • Reply with 1 to view or cancel subscriptions that are active.
  • Reply with 1 to cancel.

After doing this, you will receive a message letting you know that your request is being processed. It usually takes a few minutes or up to a day on rare occasions for the subscription to then be canceled. Dial *155#, and reply with 1 to check if it’s still there. 

If you don’t go through the process above, follow these steps below.

  • Go to your Phone app, dial *141*5# and reply with . 
  • Reply with 1 on the next prompt to manage content services. 
  • Reply with 2 to manage premium rate services.
  • With this, you can opt out of any PRS on your network.

To block future PRS charges, dial *155#, and reply with 99 to view the next page, now, select the 4th option, and select the 2nd option. Now, you have easily blocked any PRS going on on your account.
